It depends on the severity of the situation and our current schedule. We prioritize calls where there is active danger — a tree on a roof, a blocked exit, or a situation involving a power line.

When you call, be specific about what happened and we’ll give you an honest arrival estimate. We don’t make promises we can’t keep.

Call Xcel Energy before you call us. A tree in contact with an active line has to be de-energized by the utility provider before any tree crew can legally or safely work near it.

Once the line is cleared, we can handle the removal. Keep everyone away from the area in the meantime — even the ground around a downed line can be energized.

In most cases, your own homeowners insurance handles damage to your property regardless of where the tree originated.

Your neighbor’s insurance generally only comes into play if their tree was visibly dead or diseased and they had been formally notified of the hazard before it fell. Talk to your insurer first — that’s the fastest path to getting the damage covered.

That’s still a call worth making. A tree that came through a storm cracked, split, or noticeably leaning is often more dangerous than one that already fell — it’s still loaded and the failure has already started.
